Duplicate bridge at Brookside continues to be strong. On February 5th we held club Championships and the winner were as follows:
North-South
1st - Joyce Silar / Christine Knittle
2nd - Edgar Llyod / John Weishampel
3rd - Bob Poole / Bill Mawhinney
4th - Doris McKinney / Edna Rapp
East-West
1st - Tom Weik / Sandy Gephardt
2nd - Ann Boyd / Gail Weimer
3rd - Dotte Williamson / Maxine Hornberger
4th - Audrey Miller / Tony LaParo
Tom Weik and Sandy Gephardt were the overall winner with a 65% game.
February 12th will be an annual even - a memorial to Larry Bailey, a long time, avid player at Brookside. The winners' names will be added to the trophy (see the trophies in the trophy case in the Grill room). On March 26th we will hold a Unit game. This event will bring players from nearby counties. Winner will be announced in the next Babbler!
